Spring is a powerful application framework that can be used across any layer in your application. For example, you can use Spring to manage only your data access layer or you can use Spring to provide remote services for your swing client.   1. Spring MVC uses a Spring servlet class. DispatcherServlet) as the controller of the application. This needs to be configured within the web.xml file for the application. Open up the “Configuration Files” node in the project tree and open the web xml file. java developers
